Lyne has dual training in Landscape Architecture and Visual Arts. She has over 20 years of varied experience as a landscape architect, designer, artist and more recently as design director with her team that she oversaw in China.
Back home her work has focused on residential projects from smaller urban projects to large garden and estate. Lyne cares about integrating sustainable and ecological design principles since her californian experience. She became also known as a consultant to several Montreal firms and municipalities.
An artist at heart, she seeks to introduce the genius loci (spirit of the place) in each of her project. She knows how to be surrounded by talented collaborators to produce landscape architecture proposals creating the atmosphere as sought by her clients.
She could deepen many facets of the profession while working in Belgium, Austria, Hawaï, California, France, Alberta, Cameroon and China. Open mind, curious, authentic and creative Lyne is passionate with cultural spaces from one end of the planet to the other where nature has always been her source of inspiration. A recipient of numerous grants from the Conseil des arts et des lettres du Québec and Canada Council for the Arts, she wields concept as well as design, construction documents and project management.
Lyne has traveled to over forty countries adapting each time to these new ways of living, exchanging and thinking. Her humanism led her to undertake studies in massage therapy and become a volunteer in Africa. She practices yoga, and recently interested in urban farming and watch the flowers grow…
